I know you agree that Southern forests are too important to be wasted for cheap paper and packaging, so I wanted to tell you about an organization working to protect the forests and communities of the Southern US.
 
Dogwood Alliance is the only organization in the South holding corporations accountable for the impact of their industrial forestry practices on our forests and communities, creating real and lasting protection for Southern forests.

KFC and its largest supplier of paper packaging, International Paper, continue to employ the worst forest management practices in the South, so Dogwood Alliance is demanding the company use less packaging, use more recycled paper in its packaging, and source its packaging more accountably and sustainably.

I signed up for the Dogwood Alliance e-activist network and I’d like you to join me in the fight to protect Southern forests because we need your help.
