Dogwood Alliance - a group with which I've taken action with - has created a really cool activist video game based off the old school Pac-man!  That is right...they've put a new environmental twist on the old school Pac-Man arcade game.

Paper company executive are gobbling up all the trees.  Packaging Man must save the day and protect Southern forests!  Rising up from a giant pile of discarded wrappers, bags and boxes, Packaging Man is the hero.  After you play the quick game you can take action and send a message to the McDonald CEO and the rest of the 11 Fast Food Junkies whose packaging decisions so negatively impact Southern forests.

This is an important campaign to get fast food companies to change their destructive packaging habits.  Instead, fast food packaging could easily come from environmentally friendly products that do not lead to the destruction of endangered Southern forests.

Because of Dogwood Alliance's efforts, hundreds of thousands of acres of Southern forests can be better protected - and future generations will have the opportunity to enjoy the South's incredible biodiversity instead of pine plantations.

Dogwood Alliance has already gotten strong commitments from Staples, Office Depot, and OfficeMax.  Now, they are working to transform packaging practices.
